Following on from the successful introduction of our 12th Man scheme last year, we are looking to increase our members which will help to support our local football team, as it seeks to improve and push on from last season’s impressive performance.
The funds generated by you will be solely for the playing budget that is contributed towards the first team. The aim is that the extra finances we generate will go to the manager who could then improve the squad as he wishes. The more funds we generate, the more options he has in terms of attracting high-quality players.
We invite everyone that can and wishes to donate the minimum payment of £10.00 per month to join the scheme. As a member of the 12th man fund, you will have your name proudly displayed in the club house as well as the matchday programme. The players that the club sign via the finances generated will be sponsored by the ‘12th men’ so the benefits of the scheme are there for all to see.
If you are interested in joining the 12th Man Fund, all you will need to do is complete a standing order mandate form which can be collected from behind the bar in the clubhouse. If you have access to online banking, we will provide you with our bank details so that you can setup the standing order. If you are unable to setup a standing order, we will happily accept monthly payments via cash or cheque.
Alternatively, if you would like to make a one- time payment to the scheme, cheques can be made payable to Brightlingsea Regent FC. We can assure you that all monies raised as part of the fund will contribute towards the playing budget and hopefully a successful 2018/19 season.
