Brightlingsea Regent have completed the signing of former Colchester United’s Dean Ager

The attacking midfielder came through the Academy at the U’s but was released last summer.

Dean has had a successful loan spell at Bishop’s Stortford, so knows the level well.

Tom Austin, had this to say about his new addition, “Dean has been training with us for a good few weeks now and has been impressing more and more by each session.”

“Dean is a versatile player who can ply his trade in many different positions.”

“He has the ability to pick the ball up in tight areas and move the ball quickly which is helped by always having a clear picture.”

“Dean is also a set piece specialist and has created many chances/goals already in his first few friendly games.”

“Dean is a real asset to the group and we are excited to see what he can produce over a full season in a regent shirt.”
