Brightlingsea Regent are delighted to announce that Ryan Salter has agreed terms to stay on as First Team Manager for the next two years.
It's fair to say that Regent have enjoyed a fantastic season, regardless of where we finish up and the club unanimously agreed that it was important to secure the immediate future of the impressive, young manager. Salts becomes the first contracted manager in the Club's history.
Chairman Terry Doherty had this to say
"Everyone at BRFC has been extremely impressed with the way Ryan has gone about his business since he stepped into the first team managers position this season. Aside from the success with his team on the pitch Salts has helped individual players enormously to go on and sign proffesional contracts or move to clubs higher up the Non- League Pyramid.
He has also had a very successful season in his day job guiding his Academy side at the Sigma Trust to the National League finals.
In our opinion we feel we have one of the finest young managers in the league and we feel he should be rewarded in this way and become our first contracted manager "
Salter was pleased to sign on "I am delighted and extremely proud to be the first ever manager to sign a contract at Brightlingsea Regent FC. It has been a great few months and results aside, we have had players progress up the pyramid including one signing for Premier league’s Ipswich Town. I look forward to having a successful reign and thank everybody at the club for recognising our successes so far and trusting me to continue moving forwards"
Best of luck to Salts who we are sure will bring more good times to North Road over the next two years! Up The Rs!
